UPCOMING EVENTS

Christian Education & Youth Groups are going to kick of the 2026-27 school year with a Youth Planning Meeting on Sunday, August 30 during the Sunday school hour (9:45-10:45am) in the Gym. Bring your ideas, we want to hear from you!!

End of Season Pool Party on Sunday, August 30 @1pm. The party will take place at Sami & Odette Salman’s house. They will provide lunch and a beautiful pool setting to continue our 2026-27 Kick Off. There will be a ministry project – creating cards to be used in CLC’s Card Ministry. All youth are invited, please RSVP by calling the church office – 502-267-5082.

All middle & high school students are invited to a Faith Around the Fire camp out at Kyle Fletcher’s farm on Sunday, September 6 – September 7. We will depart church at 1pm on Sunday and caravan to the farm. Bring your sleeping bag, love of s’mores and Jesus and spend the night under the stars building faith and friendship connections. Calling ALL Spirit Group Youth (Kindergarten- 5th Grade) and their families! Join Karen Lawyer for a Putt Putt Golf outing on Saturday, September 12 from 4-6pm. Details about specific location , times and cost will be shared soon. Meet at Putt Putt Fun Center, 5720 Bardstown Road in Fern Creeek (across from Papa Johns). Cost is $10 / person. Funding available if cost is prohibitive. If you are interested in attending, RSVP with Karen @ 502-744-4534.

Spirit Group

This group is for children in preK through 5th grade. Parents plan and lead the events for this group. Often times the older youth groups with plan events that include this students.

GIFT

This group is for all Middle and High School students. This group is overseen by Kyle Fletcher & the Youth Committee.

CREW for High School

Christians, Renewed, Enabled and Willing (CREW) involves our youth who are in 9th through 12th grade. We meet in the Brick House and focus on bringing the Word and Communion to our home-bound members as well as play guitar, sing and learn more about what God has in store for us.
