We wanted to meet our neighbors and share the love of Christ at this year’s Gaslight Festival, and I think we can call our foray into the J-town community a success. From Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17th, 20 of our members volunteered to spend a couple of hours at our booth, handing out fun giveaways, inviting folks to CLC’s many upcoming events, and collecting prayer requests.
We enjoyed beautiful weather and steady crowds, who absolutely loved the sunglasses and painted rocks we handed out—so much so that we ran out of both early in the afternoon on Saturday. We had fun and learned a lot, with many enthusiastic about doing it again next year. It’s been years since we hosted a booth at Gaslight—it felt great to be out in the J-town community again. We hope that you’ll consider joining us next year!
