The rain poured down on     Saturday, July 19th, but luck was with the Louisville Bats and the Lutherans gathered at Slugger Field for our night at the ballpark. The rain wrapped up once evening came, cooling the temperature down for us. 

The first pitch was delayed just 30 minutes so the ground crew could prep the field. Once the game began, the Bats really flew, hitting four homeruns and scoring multiple runs, ultimately blowing out the St. Paul Saints in a 15-4 win. It was another fun night of food, fellowship, and baseball for this long-running annual event, which made it a win for Christ Lutheran too! Check out the fun here!
