UPCOMING YOUTH / YOUNG ADULT EVENTS

All youth in Kindy through 12th grade and young adults are invited to a Great Pumpkin Party on Saturday, October 25, 12:30 – 3:30pm. A pizza lunch will be served complete with spellbinding drink potions. It will be an afternoon full of pumpkin decorating and spooktacular games like Rat Toss and Eyeball Bounce just to name a few. Costumes are optional, but encouraged to complete the vibe. Pumpkins will be provided and parents are welcome to say for the fun. Friendsgiving Lock-In – November 15-16, 2025

Youth members and their friends in grades 6th through 12th are invited to our FIRST EVER Friendsgiving Lock-In. First on the agenda is to prep and prepare breakfast for our CLC family. Youth will serve this yummy breakfast to our church family on Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour. After breakfast is prepped, the real fun will begin with tons of lock-in activities.

So bring your favorite, blanket, favorite jammies, pillow & sleeping bag. We will wear our jammies to service on Sunday morning!! RSVP by November 10 by contacting Liz Dawson at 502-541-2223 or Kyle Fletcher at 502-309-6500.

What screams Christmas fun more than a MEGA Progressive Dinner? Our entire congregation, young and old alike are invited to join us on Saturday, December 14 from 1pm-6pm as we caravan to MEGA Cavern to see their epic Christmas Lights Under Louisville. Afterwards, join us at church for a Christmas Around the World Progressive Dinner. Youth Members will create the Main Entree portion of dinner. We are inviting members from different cultures to provide appetizers & desserts and share a bit about Christmas is their culture! We love Christmas! All youth members and their friends as well as all interested CLC Members are invited to join us for Christmas lights & rollercoasters as we head to Kentucky Kingdom on Saturday, December 20 from 5-9pm. Price / person will be announced soon, but if you are Kentucky Kingdom season pass holder you don’t need a ticket your pass will get you in.

We will meet at church for a quick and delicious dinner and then head down to the park. Don’t miss the lights, rides and ice slide races!! Dress warmly, as we will be outside for this event.

Spirit Group

This group is for children in preK through 5th grade. Parents plan and lead the events for this group. Often times the older youth groups with plan events that include this students.

GIFT

This group is for all Middle and High School students. This group is overseen by Kyle Fletcher & the Youth Committee.

CREW for High School

Christians, Renewed, Enabled and Willing (CREW) involves our youth who are in 9th through 12th grade. We meet in the Brick House and focus on bringing the Word and Communion to our home-bound members as well as play guitar, sing and learn more about what God has in store for us.
